Why Swivelin exists

A shared starting point for the dance community

Swivelin helps dancers, organizers, and curious newcomers find events published across multiple places in one simple, reliable view.

A complementary approach

Swivelin is not meant to replace the platforms that already serve the community well. Websites like GenevaDance, milongas.ch, and La décadanse already play an important role, each with its own focus, audience, and identity.

What the website does

The site aggregates dance events from across the region so discovery is easier, comparisons are clearer, and the community can benefit from a broader picture of what is happening.

How it came to be

The project started from a simple observation: the information already exists, but it is scattered. Right now it lives across specialized websites, Facebook events and pages, WhatsApp groups, posters, and word of mouth, which makes it easy to miss events that would otherwise matter to you.

A shared source of truth

The goal is to bring those signals together into a single source of truth that reduces fragmentation and creates value for the community as a whole. Event posters are then curated into structured events by our AI Curator, Florian.
